I ended up ordering the next size up and have used them to hike in the Bugaboos, Banff, Washington Cascades, etc. They have held up really well and the tread is durable. These lightweight boots have excellent grip and stability. It feels like a comfortable approach shoes with more room for comfortable hiking. The gore-tex membrane keeps your feet dry all day long.
